About

“The best way to treat obstacles is to use them as stepping-stones. Laugh at them, tread on them, and let them lead you to something better.”

– Enid Blyton

Freelance Writer

Enid Blyton’s children’s book series, ‘The Famous Five,’ not only nurtured my passion for books but also inspired me to one day become a writer. I carried those adventures around with me everywhere, especially in 2004, when my family moved from Luton, UK to Toulouse, France. 11 years later, I obtained my French Baccalaureate (OIB) and moved back to the UK for further studies. I attained my BA in International Relations at the University of Essex in 2018.

In the summer of 2018, I decided to pursue my passion for writing and moved to London. Before long, I was writing pieces for the entertainment news website, Reverbium, while enrolling on a Master’s course at City, University of London. I graduated with my MA in International Politics in 2020.

At the beginning of that year, Managing Director of BOYZ Magazine, David Bridle gave me the opportunity to write pieces for the LGBTQ+ magazine. This encouraged me to create a side project which involved interviewing some of London’s up-and-coming music artists and writing about their journeys to break into London’s Music Industry. ‘London’s Steadfast‘ is a series of interview pieces, published on Reverbium.
